Reflection

This class improved my writing and gave me a better understanding and idea about blogging. I enjoy writing about things I find interest in, I also like sharing my opinion and blogging is the perfect way to do that. I enjoyed writing about my taste in fashion and my combat boots. I also enjoyed writing about my weekend and cotton candy :) I didn’t much so like writing about the other blogs, the ones I liked and didn’t like. We all have our own style and personalities that we put into our blogs. Blogging opens people’s views and shares their opinion openly and freely. Other people can view and read others opinions as well, which is awesome! I also find it cool how each and every person has their own form and unique writing style. Blogging in the future could possibly turn huge or just die out I think. Face book and twitter are both pretty much like blogging, talking about their lives and what not. Although, like MySpace everything gets old and overrated at some point, it dies out. They always seam to come up with something new and better. Who knows, next it might be voice sharing. The internet and face book is taking over. Everyone is occupied with this reality that’s not actual reality. It shows what other people are constantly doing. I mean face book is a good way to connect with old and new friends but is it taking over, I believe so. Now, to me... It seams although it is too much and its starting to get old.

Cotton Condy,

I am mostly made of air, and I’m usually on a stick.

Blue or pink, the usual colors you can’t resist.

Delicious and sweet and melting sensation makes me irresistible to little kids.

Although, at times adults don’t loose there inner child and fall into the temptation of the goodness of fluff

Yes, fluffy like a cloud. A fluffy ball of fluff

Cotton that’s candy that’s why they call me cotton candy.

I have my cotton candy friends and they disappear, one after the next...Until more is spun

Spun into a cluster of sticky goodness

They take me away, take me away to eat me and devour me, and I shrink I melt into the mouths of children and I am no longer fluff.

I appear at state fair and events, I bring people together. I put a smile on people’s faces.

My dream is to some day have a cotton candy palace, amongst the British of course

A dream world, a world that, of everyones fantasy.

There would be unicorns and walls of pure cotton candy. There would be no escape.

I would rule and they would have a immense thrown so great that of which would be only cotton candy, there would be cotton candy houses and cotton candy beds.

Cotton candy slides and places to lay your head. Cotton candy playgrounds and trampolines cotton, candy ice cream shops and cotton candy fashion.

But for now, they place me in bags. They carry me away to a place and slowly devoured.

 

Combat boots, are my new obsession. These boots are Steve Madden, they are real leather and fur interior. They are extremely comfy and cute. I want these soooo bad by the way. I love combat boots. When I wear mine I feel ready to go on an adventure or something. They are 99$ which sucks but they ARE Steve M
adden, so I mean its they brand that you’d be paying for. Combat boots are fashionably in, they are comfy and useful plus they protect your feet and they are nature like, I feel like im about to go on a hike or something. You can where them with anything. Im really digging the light tan ones, I have a pair of brown but I like the light tan also. This summer, I used my combat boots so much. When I went to the mall, on the boats and the marina, horse back riding, bonfires, parties..ect You can find these boots at the mall of America. I believe the store is called spring or the 2^nd floor has a steve madden store.  They have combat boots everywhere so best bet, is any shoe store.  There are many sorts of styles. You can get them short, worn down, knee length black brown.. so many options.

Jersey Shore, the reality show that created a cultural slur within America. i cant stand jersey shore but at the same time I love it. It keeps me laughing and entertained. This article is about the cultural explosion of the jersey shore. Jersey shore has changed America both cultural wise and has became people’s obsession. What they do sometimes is ridiculous and not classy but it is still funny to watch. This article talks about their jersey shore lifestyle and the words they have created such as “Guido”. Its funny how since this show has came to be like everyone says words. This article also talks about each character. There is Snookie, Ronnie, situation, Pauley d, Sammy, j wow and Vinny. My favorite is Pauly d, and snookie is hilarious but somewhat annoying.  This season they travel to italy, its full of drama, & ridiculousness. Its crazy how famous these people have gotten from partying on a reality show. So many people try to be like them, wait for each episode. Personally my opinion is, I like this show but how Deena and Snookie party and get at the club is not something I think is cool, like getting sloppy makes them look trashy, I would not do that. Giovony got mad at Snookie for lifting up her dress at the club. I think he’s right like he wants a female that’s a lady but at the same time he shouldn’t change her and shouldn’t have reacted so selfish. I could go on forever about this show but im done J

Marilyn Monroe

   I believe this design has, it has spunk I love the girly but clean edge to it. But I do think there could be a lot more done to it, along with neatness  it pops up 2^nd under Marilyn Monroe blogs.  The site is a bit glitchy, considering all the advertisements getting in the way of things.

 I believe the focus is the great pieces of work Marilyn has consisted of and her highlights, its remembering what she was great for, which is a lot by the way. It consists of photography along with quotes.  Yes I believe the content matches the title, I mean of course it’s not going to cover everything Marilyn has accomplished and it doesn’t give points or tell about her life. It just reviews her photography and the things she has said. The writing style is quite unique, and I do very much so relate myself to some of Marilyn’s quotes. But the writer does not form an opinion or facts of why Marilyn is so great. The style is more pictures and a quote to go along with the picture.

The grammar and punctuation is right, there isn’t much grammar or writing of the persons own that is clear. It conceives of highlights of photos and quotes from her lifetime and career. The website is directed towards People who admire Marilyn Monroe. There is no info about the author on this blog

I just love Marilyn and how she was just real and classy at the same time.

A person I believe that has attained success is my mom, and bob Marley. I love bob Marley. He was all about one love and united people. I admire him so much for that. He brung joy to our people and he sang about what’s real. He overcame many adversities and growing up in the ghetto of Jamaica, and he brought good messages to the world. He sang for what he believed in. "“Just can't live that negative way...make way for the positive day!” he looked at the bright side of things in life and enjoyed. He didn’t judge, he believed we were one people and put aside peoples differences.
“Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery, none but ourselves can free our minds!” he’s right, its all in your mind you just have to learn how to look at the world from a higher standard and to live free and let go. I wish I could meet bob Marley that would be so awesome!  He just has so much wisdom and experience.
I love that when he performed he didn’t change himself, not for media not for anyone. He was just him. “One good thing about music, is when it hits you, you feel no pain.”
His inspirational lyrics and melodies were intended to unify all races and he believed in one love and one people. He dedicated sharing this message to the world, and his powerful lyrics did just that. Bob Marley is more than just an artist or singer, he is a role model. Love you bob Marley! R.I.P!
